Timing Attack·Season 12
This build is for players new to the RTS Genre. The build is specifically made to eliminate excessive fiddling within your economy typical of higher level builds. This simplifies the macro-management and allows the player to learn to rotate between their base, scout, and army by giving them simple numbers to hit for their macro. The intended play style is as follows - team games feudal ram push only, ideally with three players. One experienced player should be a cavalry civ, next experienced player should be in charge of rams and melee units, and the new RTS player should use this build to mass longbows and support the ram rush. Ideally, the new player shouldn't have to make and control spears or rams in order to eliminate complexity. The goal is to boil the game down to an enjoyable loop with a strong enough attack that the new player is contributing and can therefore enjoy the game. I would recommend 40 to 50 games using this BO while mastering the basics of the RTS Genre. It's critical to be rotating between your 1) economy, 2) scout, and 3) army **consistently** while executing this build order, as it will form the foundation by which you will approach RTS and especially AoE4 specifically. As a rule of thumb for new players: Each produces approximately 40 of ANY RESOURCE PER MINUTE without upgrades. With upgrades the number can push north of 50 resources per minute.
Please note: rally numbers for are simplified in this portion of the game for new players to reduce friction. This is also why instructions are extra specific.
