A read-only, community-sourced build-order library.
Community builds from aoe4guides.comA build order is a timed opening: which villagers go to which resource, what gets built and when, and at what point you move up an age. The first few minutes set your economy and your army timing, so following a tested opening removes most of the guesswork from the part of the game that plays out the same way every time.
Each build is broken down by age, with villager counts, the resource split and the timing for every step. The library is read-only and sourced from the community, so what you see is the author's build as they published it — including the video or page it came from.
Match the build to your civilization first, then to the game mode and map you are playing. If a civilization is new to you, a top-rated Fast Castle or two-town-centre opening will teach you its economy before a more specialised all-in build is worth trying.
