WHAT: Server Maintenance (Matchmaking Servers) WHEN: Thursday, August 13 @ 2:00pm PT / 5:00pm ET / 21:00 UTC (Countdown) EST. DOWNTIME: 1-2 HOURS GAMES & PLATFORMS IMPACTED Age of Empires: Definitive Edition (Steam / Microsoft Store) Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (Steam / Microsoft Store / XBOX / PlayStation 5) Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition (Steam / Microsoft Store) Age of Empires IV (Steam / Microsoft Store / XBOX / PlayStation 5) OBJECTIVES Routine server updates and maintenance. DETAILSThis coming Thursday, August 13th, the platform team will be taking the multiplayer servers down for regular maintenance. Please note: Ranked matchmaking will disabled exactly one hour before the maintenance window to prevent disruption to newly-formed matches. Update to Map Pool Rotation
Starting today and at the start of each month, the Ranked Map pool will now automatically rotate. Each rotation will always feature a set number of open, closed, hybrid, and naval maps to keep a balanced set of maps in play at all times. This means that you'll see more varied maps more frequently in Ranked play!
