Ladder
Copy the downloaded file, unchanged and without adding an extension, into Documents \ My Games \ Age of Empires IV \ playback — then it shows up under Replays in the game. A replay only plays back on the game version it was recorded on, and a game played on a custom map needs that map's mod installed.
