[JUST BEGINNING TO WRITE THIS GUIDE, IT IS NOT NEARLY COMPLETE!] -OOTD's early boom is slower than HRE's, mainly because of lesser worker boost (25% instead of 40%) and also only fills to 35% instead of 40%) -But OOTD still has the most broken lategame booming tool called the . The weird part about this landmark is, if you boom towards it with 2-3 TCs, then you already won't really need the Villager printing anymore, or at least not as much. So the best way to go about it is a slow boom, where you keep building Villagers at all time fromt 1 TC and get all eco upgrades as early as possible. -You use all your excess resources (that are not used for increasing eco) for units, to pressure your opponent and starving him of the possibility of booming himself. -The advantage of this is, that you can catch greedy or unprepared opponents off guard with your early Horsemen and Archers and even get quick wins. -What you should do when you are ahead: --Only if you can finish him for sure, go for Rams and finish him. --If you're not sure if you can finish him, pull back, stop unit production and quickly get to the next Age + veterancy upgrades before resuming your pressure. -What you need to focus on: --Do not lose units, pull them back before they die. -The Gilded Horsemen are to be seen as Early Knights and can take on those pretty much 1:1 but with the added bonus of being 20% faster than Knights.

If opponent builds Spearmen, build as many as possible and use them in the middle and use your as flank raiders. Careful to not let your Horsemen fight Spearmen.
Lastly, another OOTD counter is Japanese, because of their Buddhist Monks that can half your Units' DPS. But this is not as much of a problem for our + style, since they are smaller Units. But an OOTD player going for / Dragon Handcannoneer / is in big trouble if they bring in these Monks. Just snipe their Monks and try to fall back until the debuffs have fallen off. If you can't avoid the fight, shuffle the debuffed Units to the front so they die first, so you lose less DPS.
