Don't build 
Silver Tree on maps without neutral trade-post. are good if you plan to use , or against civs like Fre and Rus where protecting trade is more difficult.

From here raid w/ while trading. Be mindful of counters and macro. Don't be afraid to go castle early if necessary. End-game in feudal is ideal.
