General Strategies: 1. Water maps: - Use the usual water build. - Go aggressive in Feudal Age and Age 3. - Build Regnitz Cathedral and collect relics 2. Golden Pit, Dry Arabia, Socotra, Lipany: - Start with the deer build as previously discussed. - If the enemy is Mongol or Ottoman: - Skip the deer build. - Build 2 towers on your gold. - Gather extra wood in Dark Age. - Ensure the 2 towers protect your gold. 3. Himeyama and Rocky River: - Send 5 starting villagers to berries. - New food villagers should stay on sheep. Scouting Tips: - Always scout your opponent: - Look for stables, trading routes, or any signs of their strategic direction. - Use this information to adapt and pick the correct army composition. Unit Counters: - Against Malian: Use all 3 units from the burger[spear and Landsk to musofadi/Sofa/Donso) and horsemen to counter ranged units. - Against Japanese Onna-Musha and Spearmen: Use horsemen or Landsknecht. - Landsknecht Usage: - Best unit against Spearmen, Horsemen, and Men-at-Arms. - Countered by Archers, Mangudai, Horse Archers, or Camel Archers. Siege Tactics: - To push against Kremlin or Barbican, use 3-4 rams. Additional Tips: - Always choose the right unit composition based on scouting intel.
